Leonard Matz is an independent liquidity risk consultant. Previously, Leonard was the international director of liquidity risk consulting for Bancware and Kamakura. He began his career as an Examiner for the Federal Reserve of Cleveland and subsequently spent 15 years in senior risk management assignments at three US banks. Many know him from his influential books on liquidity management and ALM, including "Liquidity Risk Measurement and Management: A Practitioner's Guide to Global Best Practices" and "Self-Paced Training Guide to Asset/Liability Management". Leonard has worked with bankers on 6 continents to review and revise their liquidity risk measurement, contingency planning, policies, documentation, and reporting. I really like the concept of this book and its numerous practical ...

I really like the concept of this book and its numerous practical examples, which are very helpful. However, I really felt like giving 2 stars based on the fact that the book contains many, many typos and editorial errors. It feels like the book has not actually been reviewed at all. The only reason I'm not giving it 2 stars is that, at $23.99, it is not actually a bad deal. If the book were reviewed these questions addressed, I would give it 4 stars.

Great Reading

This is the book I am looking for! It will help me to explain this hot topic to my students. It covers the whole picture of liquidity risk management both from a regulatory and real practices point of view . I decided to use this as a reference book for my risk management teaching in banking School! Thanks, Mr. Matz
